Job Description

Are you passionate about trees and ready to grow your career in arboriculture? VI Tree Service, a leading provider of tree care solutions in Vancouver, is hiring! We are looking for dedicated Certified Arborists, Experienced Tree Climbers, or Certified Utility Arborists to join our dynamic team for full-time work.

Position Responsibilities:

Perform tree pruning, removals, and maintenance to industry standards
Safely operate and maintain climbing gear, power tools, and aerial lifts
Identify tree health issues, including pest infestations or diseases
Work on both residential and utility projects
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Communicate effectively with clients and team members

Qualifications:

Certification as an ISA Certified Arborist, Utility Arborist, or equivalent (Preferred)
Valid BC driver’s license (Class 5 or higher)
Air Brake Endorsement (Preferred)
Proven experience in tree climbing and arboriculture techniques
Familiarity with industry safety protocols and procedures
Chainsaw safety certification and aerial lift experience are assets
Strong physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions

Work Schedule:

Full-time position with flexible hours
Opportunities for overtime and weekend work, as needed
