We are looking for a Production Assistant Supervisor to support our operations and help achieve our performance objectives.

Your role
Reporting to the Production Director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities to meet deadlines, quality standards, and organizational objectives.
Your responsibilities

Production:

Plan production schedules and organize work shifts
Ensure workforce availability
Assign tasks and manage job rotations
Verify employee training before assignment
Monitor order progress and adjust priorities
Plan overtime requirements
Collaborate with various departments
Ensure proper transmission of production documents

Quality:

Identify and resolve non-conformities
Complete tracking and reporting documents

Team Management and Supervision:

Assess workforce needs
Validate worked hours and absences
Ensure compliance with standards and procedures
Apply the collective agreement
Plan and supervise training
Evaluate employee performance
Apply disciplinary measures as needed

Profile sought
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and motivating individual who:

Has strong management and coordination skills
Demonstrates leadership and sound judgment
Is comfortable in a dynamic production environment
Has excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Communicates effectively and works well in a team

Required skills

Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
Experience in personnel management
Knowledge of Lean principles and 5S
Strong organizational skills
Engaging leadership
Attention to detail and rigor

Requirements

College diploma (DEC) in operations management or equivalent (an assett)
0 to 3 years of experience in production supervision
