We offer YEAR-ROUND WORK alongside experienced tradespeople and operators on a variety of civil construction tasks. Coast Valley Contracting is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in an outdoor environment, and takes pride in contributing to high‑quality municipal infrastructure projects.

Coast Valley Contracting (CVC) is a family-owned Civil Contractor, operating in Squamish, BC since 1979. Job Duties:

Installing underground piping systems including water, storm, and sanitary lines
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and grade stakes
Setting pipe to line and grade using lasers and levels
Backfilling, compaction, and site preparation
Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
Collaborating with operators and crew members to maintain efficient workflow
Operate small tools and equipment safely (training provided where needed)
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized worksite
Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines
Co-ordinate with foreman / project manager on days tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in civil pipe laying (minimum 1–3 years preferred)
Knowledge of municipal standards and utility installation
Ability to work safely in trenches and around heavy equipment
Strong understanding of grades, elevations, and laser levels
Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work
Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour
