Full job description

BFI Print & Promotional Business in London, Ontario, is a small business environment looking for someone comfortable being the sole accounting/bookkeeping person and able to manage the full accounting cycle independently. Candidate should be able to work without heavy supervision and take ownership of all accounting responsibilities. Must be confident handling everything from invoicing and payroll to reconciliations, reporting, and government remittances.

Full-time position: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30 pm = 40 hours per week + Benefits

Excellent Working Environment with over 50 years in business.

Daily Invoicing, all accounts payable / accounts receivable / Quantum
Weekly payable cheque runs
Collection of outstanding receivable accounts
Payroll Bi-Weekly with Easy Pay
All Government remittances
Producing month end financial reports
Entering Journal Entries
Reconciliation of bank accounts
Reconciliation of credit cards
Proficient with computer software, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and highly skilled at providing superior customer service
Entering all customer payments ( EFT / Cheques / Credit card )
Human Resource duties Employee records, benefits and policies.
Able to produce year end documents for submission to our External Accounting firm
Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information
Good communication skills and ability to work with management/team members
Experience with invoicing, expense tracking, and cash flow management
Previous experience in small business accounting is an asset
Ability to identify discrepancies and help improve processes
Other duties as assigned, team packaging and fulfillment
Experience in accounting, excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, flexibility, punctuality and a positive attitude are some of the skills and attributes needed to succeed in this position.
