Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Childcare Provider and make a positive impact on children's lives through engaging, nurturing, and educational care. In this role, you will create a safe, welcoming environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster growth, curiosity, and confidence in every child you care for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to early childhood development while building meaningful relationships with families and children alike.

Duties

Provide attentive and compassionate care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs.
Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
Ensure children's safety by adhering to health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Support childhood development milestones through structured play, teaching basic skills, and behavior management strategies.
Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and toilet training.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized environment that encourages exploration and learning.

Experience

Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles is highly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
Classroom experience or daycare experience that includes behavior management techniques and toddler or infant care is advantageous.
Familiarity with caregiving routines for infants and toddlers, including feeding schedules and developmental activities.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, children, and team members.
