Full job description

Workforce Inc. is seeking motivated and physically fit General Labourers to support our clients’ mining operations. The successful candidate will perform a variety of manual tasks to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the mine site.

Responsibilities:

Complete all required paperwork on a daily basis
Assist with general maintenance and upkeep in the dryers
Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor
Provide manual labour assistance on various tasks and assignments
Operate equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation and policies
Moving and lifting equipment and supplies
Use power tools and machinery when needed
Attend and participate in safety meetings
Follow all applicable site procedures
Other duties as required

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy loads
Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially hazardous environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team and follow directions
Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends
Prior experience in manual labour or the mining industry is an asset
Valid G class drivers licence and reliable transportation is required

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts

Pay Rate: $25
