Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a welcoming demeanor. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Micros POS
Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure smooth service flow
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station
Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Assist with seating arrangements during busy periods and special events
Support overall restaurant operations by providing excellent customer service and hospitality

Qualifications

Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality is preferred
Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Restaurant experience or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
