Our team is evolving, and we are looking for an experienced, self-motivated accountant who is ready to take the next step in their public practice career.

You are a confident professional who takes pride in your work, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys solving problems. You’re able to think critically, work independently, and efficiently move through a variety of complex accounting and tax engagements.

Most importantly, you enjoy working with clients and want an opportunity to build your skills, take on greater responsibility, and grow within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare compilation and review engagement files.
Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns.
Assist with complex bookkeeping and accounting assignments.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide practical accounting and tax solutions.
Manage multiple engagements while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum3 years of experience in public practice.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and client-service skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a high-performing team.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Sage, Caseware, Profile or other tax software, and Excel.

Compensation & Experience Levels

Our compensation structure is based on experience, technical knowledge, and the level of responsibility you are able to take on. We recognize that candidates bring different levels of experience and expertise, and our pay scale reflects that.

The highest compensation level is available to candidates with 5+ years of public practice experience who can work independently, manage client relationships and engagements with minimal supervision, and demonstrate advanced knowledge of CRA requirements, corporate and personal taxation, accounting standards, and compilation and review engagements.

Candidates with less experience are also encouraged to apply, with compensation determined based on their experience, skills, and overall level of competency.
