Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clinical Secretary to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support within a busy medical practice, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with electronic medical records ACCURO, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. The Clinical Secretary will serve as the first point of contact for patients and staff, contributing to a welcoming and professional environment.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner at the front desk
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) system- ACCURO
Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance information and updating records as needed
Prepare and organize documentation for appointments, procedures
Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely flow of information and documentation
Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Experience

Previous experience as a receptionist at a medical office setting is highly preferred- required
Familiarity with electronic medical records system- Accuro
Permanently resides in Windsor Essex area
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
Proven experience working in a fast-paced office environment with multi-line phone systems
Office experience involving administrative support, front desk responsibilities, or customer service is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally
