About the Role

We are currently seeking an French Bilingual Underwriting Operational Support Specialist I – Personal Lines to join our team in Winnipeg. In this role, you will provide underwriting and claims support for Personal Lines Property & Casualty operations across Canada. Working with minimal supervision, you will contribute to operational excellence by processing broker requests, supporting business initiatives, and ensuring service-level targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

Provide underwriting support for Personal Lines insurance products by processing broker requests and policy transactions.
Respond to inquiries and communicate decisions in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
Support internal business partners with evolving operational needs.
Assist with strategic initiatives, system enhancements, incident management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and system-related issues.
Meet productivity and service-level targets while managing multiple priorities.
Participate in team meetings, cross-functional discussions, and collaborative projects.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and company updates.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work performed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1–3 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience.
Experience in Personal Lines insurance is preferred.
CIP designation completed or in progress is considered an asset.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Bilingual English/French is considered an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
