The Role: Special Diets Chef

The Special Diets Chef’s role is to deliver fresh, flavourful, and fun meals to guests and staff with food related allergies, dietary restrictions and/or modifications required while complying with all Health and Safety standards, proper food-handling techniques and Muskoka Woods standards.

Team player
Takes initiative to lead and problem solve
Strong people and time management skills

College/university degree or equivalent in experience
2 to 5 years of cooking/kitchen experience
1 to 2 years of leadership experience
Knowledge of production style cooking
Knowledge and experience in preparing allergen friendly foods including the top 9 most common food allergens including specifically gluten free, vegan and dairy free requirements.
