As a Buyer, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by turning purchasing plans into action, building strong supplier relationships, and staying ahead of potential supply challenges. What You'll Do

Turn Plans Into Action

Review purchasing requirements and create accurate purchase orders that support production and operational needs.
Manage order changes, revisions, and cancellations while maintaining accurate ERP records.

Stay Ahead of Supply Risks

Monitor open orders and delivery commitments to identify potential delays before they impact operations.
Prioritize expediting efforts on the orders that matter most.

Keep Teams Informed

Build productive relationships with suppliers and gather timely updates on orders, availability, and delivery commitments.
Share important information with stakeholders so decisions can be made quickly and confidently.

Protect Data Accuracy

Maintain complete and accurate procurement records within the ERP system.
Resolve discrepancies before they affect inventory, receiving, invoicing, or reporting.

What You'll Bring

Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or related experience.
Experience creating and managing purchase orders in an ERP environment, preferably Microsoft D365.
Experience within food manufacturing, dairy processing, or another regulated industry.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay composed when priorities shift.
SCMP designation, or progress toward a professional procurement designation, is an asset.
