Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Butcher to join our manufacturing team within the food processing industry. This role involves preparing, cutting, and packaging meat products to meet quality standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in butchery, food safety, and meat processing techniques, contributing to efficient production workflows. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to high standards of sanitation and product excellence.

Responsibilities

Perform precise meat cutting and trimming according to product specifications and safety guidelines
Operate and maintain meat processing equipment with mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance
Package finished products securely, adhering to food industry packaging standards
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and sanitized in compliance with sanitation protocols
Assist in inventory management by accurately labeling, storing, and rotating meat products
Follow strict food safety procedures throughout the processing cycle to prevent contamination
Support quality control checks by inspecting meat for quality, freshness, and defects
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining safety standards
Maintain documentation related to processing procedures, sanitation logs, and safety compliance

Skills

Proven experience in butchery, meat cutting, or food processing within the food industry
Strong understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
Mechanical knowledge related to meat processing equipment operation and maintenance
Familiarity with packaging techniques suitable for perishable food products
Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and efficiency optimization
