Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Farm Labourer to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops, as well as supporting various farm operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for outdoor farming activities. This position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in horticulture and farm management while contributing to the success of our farm operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with planting, watering, and cultivating crops using appropriate tools and techniques
Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields
Perform general gardening tasks including pruning, weeding, and mulching
Use hand tools such as shovels, hoes, and rakes for various farm activities
Support crop harvesting and post-harvest handling processes
Maintain clean and organized work areas to promote safety and efficiency
Assist with minor mechanical repairs or adjustments to farm equipment when necessary
Help with loading and unloading supplies or produce as needed
Follow safety protocols during all farm activities, including heavy lifting and equipment operation

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools used in gardening and farming tasks
Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Willingness to learn new skills related to farming operations
