Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Kitchen Helper and be a vital part of creating a smooth, efficient, and welcoming food service environment! In this role, you will support the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your energy and enthusiasm will help keep the kitchen running seamlessly, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while working in a dynamic team setting.

Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food handling to support chefs and cooks in delivering quality dishes
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
Organize ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient workflow during busy service times
Support food service operations by helping with plating, serving, and clearing tables as needed
Follow proper food safety procedures and hygiene practices at all times
Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision to learn culinary techniques and processes
Ensure the kitchen area is organized, sanitized, and stocked for daily operations

Experience

Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
Familiarity with food preparation, handling, and safety protocols is advantageous
Experience in serving or assisting in meal service settings will be beneficial
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: $18.25-$26.40 per hour
