Summary
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Control Documentation Reviewer supports the Quality Control team to ensure documentation generated meets the highest standard of quality and integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review analytical data generated for QC including validation and manufacturing
- Support the on-going stability program (e.g. registering and maintaining the shelf life of stability protocols) and have direct contact with P5 Customers
- Works with the QC Supervisor and other departments/ external vendors to develop method validation and protocols
- Assists with the execution and approval of analytical laboratory investigations.
- Reviews, develops and updates SOP’s, GTP’s, and LIMs, ensuring compliance with GLP & GMP
- Support QC LIMs software
- Review and approve data in support of Metrology
- Review, develop and update quality specification worksheets
- Coordinate storage/ shipping/ testing of QC samples
- Prepare annual product reviews (APR’s
- Participate in internal and external audits, as required
- Work with external vendors, customers and project management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science or college diploma in a relevant scientific discipline such as chemistry, biochemistry, or microbiology
- Minimum of two years pharmaceutical laboratory experience
- Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, documentation, instrumentation skills and teamwork
- Knowledge of computerized information systems, including MS Office and LIMS
- Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices, GMP and ICH guidelines
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills
COMPENSATION
- The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000 per year. This an 18-month contract position.
