Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 annually + $5,000 Signing & Retention Bonus + KM Reimbursement

What You’ll Be Doing

You will provide services across adult and pediatric populations in York Region, including home, community, and school environments.

Your work will include:

Conducting comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments
Completing swallowing assessments and recommending appropriate food textures and diet modifications
Developing individualized, client-centered treatment plans
Providing evidence-based therapy for speech, language, fluency, voice, and communication development
Supporting children in school-based settings with functional communication goals
Educating clients, families, caregivers, and educators on strategies and carryover techniques
Collaborating with physicians, teachers, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists
Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Experience or interest in both pediatric and adult populations
Experience with swallowing assessments and food texture/diet modification
Valid Ontario driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance
Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check
Professional Liability Insurance
Certification with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada considered an asset
