Wellthera Integrated Health is currently seeking a Registered Acupuncturist to join our premium multidisciplinary clinic in Barrie, Ontario, serving Barrie, Innisfil, and Simcoe County.
This is an independent contractor practitioner opportunity for a professional, patient-focused acupuncturist who wants to grow within a modern, elevated, hospitality-driven healthcare environment.

We are looking for a Registered Acupuncturist who is clinically competent, professional, reliable, warm with patients, and aligned with a premium standard of care.
The right practitioner may be newer or more experienced. What matters most is professionalism, communication quality, clinical judgment, reliability, patient-centred care, and alignment with Wellthera’s standards.

The practitioner is responsible for supplying their own acupuncture needles. Wellthera provides the treatment environment and general clinic support described above.
Schedule / Availability
We are especially interested in practitioners with recurring weekday, evening, and/or weekend availability.
Specific availability blocks can be discussed during the interview process and will be mutually agreed upon.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be registered and in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario as a Registered Acupuncturist
- Be legally authorized to practise acupuncture in Ontario
- Carry professional liability insurance
- Practise within their authorized scope, training, competence, and insurance coverage
- Maintain professional, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
- Follow applicable privacy, consent, infection prevention, and professional standards
- Communicate warmly and professionally with patients and clinic team members
- Be reliable with mutually agreed clinic availability blocks
- Be comfortable using clinic booking, intake, charting, billing, and communication systems
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance suitable for a premium healthcare clinic
Preferred Assets
The following are assets, but not strict requirements:
- Experience in a multidisciplinary clinic
- Interest in pain management, women’s health, facial acupuncture, TMJ/facial tension, stress support, or functional care
- Experience with direct billing-supported healthcare environments
- Strong patient education skills
- Interest in long-term practice growth
- Comfort working in a premium, hospitality-driven clinic environment
- Strong rebooking, patient communication, and follow-up habits, where clinically appropriate and ethical

Compensation / Earning Potential
Estimated annual earnings may range from approximately $35,000–$90,000+, based on an independent contractor percentage-split model.
Estimated earnings vary depending on practitioner availability, patient demand, service mix, booking utilization, and start date. The applicable split and compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process. No minimum earnings, bookings, or patient volume are guaranteed.
