Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking for a general labour with computer knowledge and can operate a machine. The machine operator, with our training will be able to run the Digital Die cutting machine. It's the machine that cuts out images from sheets or rolls of material. Pays $20/hr

Duties

Operate various manufacturing machinery according to safety guidelines and production specifications
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunctions
Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to support manufacturing processes
Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime
Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment
Assist in setting up machines for different production runs and adjust settings as required
Maintain clean and organized workstations to promote a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred
Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
Mechanical knowledge or background in assembly work is advantageous
Experience working with hand tools and power tools required
Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial machinery and warehouse operations
Ability to read technical manuals or schematics is beneficial
