Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office/Accounts Receivable (AR) specialist to support our financial operations. This role involves managing accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and utilizing various accounting software to ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, excellent customer service abilities, and proficiency with accounting tools . This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team within a professional environment focused on financial accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation and ensure accounts are up to date
Perform data entry related to financial transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail
bookkeeping and financial record keeping
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues requiring resolution
Handle accounts payable functions when necessary, ensuring timely payments
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and correspondence
Communicate effectively with clients and vendors via phone and email, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting tasks
Support the accounting team with general administrative duties related to financial services

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes
Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and account analysis
Effective negotiation skills for collections or resolving discrepancies
Accurate data entry capabilities with high attention to detail
Strong math skills essential for financial calculations and analysis
Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone etiquette
Ability to perform account analysis efficiently and accurately
Familiarity with financial services industry standards and practices
Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

This position is integral to maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring precise recordkeeping, effective communication, and efficient account management. Pay: From $27.00 per hour
