Job Title: Commercial Cleaner
Location: 690 Thornton Avenue, Bathurst, NB, E2A 2X1

Salary: $22.00/hour
Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent

About the Role

CBS is seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Commercial Cleaner at a CN facility in Bathurst, New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and professional workplace environment. Duties include:

Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors throughout the facility
Dust furniture, desks, windowsills, and other surfaces
Empty garbage bins and replace liners
Clean and disinfect washrooms, including toilets and urinals, sinks and countertops, mirrors and floors
Refill washroom supplies, including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
Wipe and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles and light switches
Clean and sanitize the employee locker room and lunchroom, including countertops, sinks, tables, chairs, and microwave

Job Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial services, or a related field is strongly preferred
Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, reaching, bending, and standing for extended periods
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
Must consent to a criminal background check
Language: English (and/or French)

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment
Understanding of sanitation procedures and workplace safety standards
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Part-Time Schedule

2 shifts per week
4 hours per shift (8 hours total per week)
Days are flexible (Monday to Friday) and will be scheduled by mutual agreement.
Start Date: As soon as possible

Additional Information

Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided
Onsite and online training modules are provided
Flexible scheduling to accommodate availability
