Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality standards and are served in a timely manner. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry, with experience in kitchen operations and food handling. A strong understanding of food safety and restaurant procedures is essential to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Assist in preparing ingredients for daily menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Support the cooking process by following recipes and plating standards
Ensure all food is prepared according to safety and sanitation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Help with food service tasks such as plating dishes and assembling orders for delivery or dine-in service
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-organized

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and quality control
Familiarity with meal preparation processes within the food industry or restaurant experience is advantageous
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
