Location: GTA / Greater Toronto Area (Dispatch out of Mississauga/Brampton)

Position Type: Full-Time, In-Person

Schedule: Open Availability (Must be available to work any of the 7 days of the week, including weekends, as operational needs dictate)

Our fleet is a rapidly growing transport and logistics provider looking for a professional, reliable, and safety-minded Local AZ Driver to join our regional GTA operations. If you know the gridlock and shipping docks of the Greater Toronto Area, want to be home daily, and thrive in a structured hourly role, we want you on our team.

This position requires high scheduling flexibility, including dedicated weekend availability and the readiness to work across all 7 days of the week as necessary to service our consistent, time-sensitive regional freight.

Key Responsibilities

Safe Local Operation: Safely and efficiently operate AZ tractor-trailer combinations within the Greater Toronto Area, navigating tight docks, commercial zones, and heavy traffic.
Logistics & Compliance: Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and properly track/document all activity logs in strict compliance with MTO regulations.
Inspections: Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (Schedule 1) to ensure equipment is roadworthy; immediately report any mechanical defects to dispatch.
Dock Navigation & Cargo: Oversee the safe delivery of goods, ensuring proper securing of freight and professional interaction with local receivers.
Communication: Maintain proactive, professional communication with local dispatch regarding arrival times, delays at the dock, and route updates.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial AZ driving experience, ideally with a strong background navigating the GTA.
Licensing: Valid Ontario Class AZ Commercial Driver’s License.
Schedule Flexibility: Absolute availability to work any day of the week, 7 days a week as necessary (including Saturdays and Sundays), is a mandatory requirement.
Driving Record: A clean commercial driver's abstract and CVOR with no major violations.
Attributes: Punctual, self-reliant, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to safe city driving.
