Mele and Co is currently looking for the right candidate to fill our newly created Sales and Ecommerce Coordinator position.

What You Will Do
Reporting to the Sr. Account Manager, you will coordinate the day-to-day order entry, new customer on-boarding and issue resolution on behalf of the company’s wholesale and drop-ship customers across North America. You will collaborate across departments to ensure wholesale and consumer orders are received and processed appropriately. As the company’s frontline contact and gatekeeper, you will internally elevate and prioritize clients’ questions or issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner. Responsible for the end-to-end operational management of product listings on partner portals, resolving vendor conflicts and chargeback issues. Assist the team on ad-hoc requests as required.
Primary Duties:
· Order entry and maintenance. Receive and manually enter orders where needed daily from wholesale customer’s platforms and marketplaces into ERP system to ensure proper processing.
· Internal and vendor portal maintenance, ensuring orders are closing out accurately and in a timely manner (True Commerce, DSCO, Retail Link, SPS, CommerceHub, etc.)
· Complying with vendor’s manuals where applicable and assisting in setting up new customers with internal departments (packing instructions, custom labelling, shipping instructions).
· Troubleshoot EDI issues: orders not loading or closing out properly, inventory not being sent; monitor the company’s automated EDI order intake and processing using internet and web-based tools; identify any issues or failures and assist with resolutions to ensure smooth processing.
· Alert IT to any issues that require additional assistance. Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues.
· Perform scheduled maintenance on True Commerce and other platforms where needed
· Partial customer service duties include ensuring questions or issues are resolved in a timely manner and communicated back to the customer professionally and efficiently. Provide information to customers via the Customer Service mailbox and or phone which includes order status, creating credits, customs invoice’s, returns (analyzing and reporting product damages/defects, processing of customer returns including approval, tracking, communication with consumer and/or account(s)) and answering freight queries.
· Site audits to ensure accuracy of product information, content gaps/enhancements, promotions and marketing effectiveness
· Liaison and coordinate with wholesale accounts to the Faire Platform and help troubleshoot wholesale customer issues where needed on Faire.
· Assist with ad-hoc requests from the team in generating various sales and inventory reporting, updating product master templates, and assist in the sales planning process.
· Gather and consolidate customer feedback and share with our Product, Sales and Marketing teams to assist in product development and product lifecycle management.
· Assist in tracking, organizing and logging in samples
· Assist in the warehouse during peak seasonal demand (Holiday season) with picking and labeling orders and organizing bulk orders when needed.
· Coordinate all product photography and copy with creative and marketing for website, catalog, spec sheets, packaging, trade show materials and sales pitches.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree a plus.
· 3-5 years’ experience in consumer products sales or customer care in a wholesale environment; Supporting both Canada and US-based businesses a plus.
· Basic understanding of, or experience supporting, EDI-based orders and customers is required.
· Working knowledge and experience with order management systems and/or ERP systems; Experience with Sage an asset
· Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office 365, in particular Excel
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines on time sensitive issues
· Capacity to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
