Reports To: Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent / Golf Course Foreman / Horticulturalist
Wage: $17.85 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time Seasonal

About the Role

Join the team at Kokanee Springs Resort as a Golf Course Greenskeeper! You’ll play a key role in maintaining the golf course and surrounding areas to ensure exceptional playing conditions and a beautiful environment for guests.

Responsibilities

Perform daily maintenance of golf course grounds, including mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough.
Maintain bunkers, move tee markers and cups, repair divots and ball marks.
Assist with spring cleanup, fall shutdown, and winterization.
Maintain walkways, cart paths, drainage channels, and waterways.
Operate and care for golf course maintenance equipment safely.
Assist with landscaping and renovation projects as needed.
Help maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment facilities and staff areas.

Qualifications

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting to 25 kg).
Experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is an asset.
Ability to safely operate equipment (manual transmission or hydrostatic drive).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions.
Willingness to start early (as early as 4:30 am) and work weekends.
Steel-toe boots required; work gloves and rain gear recommended.
