At Cioffis we can offer a unique opportunity to work in the restaurant industry with daytime shifts. We are all about work life balance and can provide the restaurant lifestyle with a regular life schedule. We offer a flexible schedule across all 7 days of the week, with varying start times. Shifts typically finish before 7:00 PM.

As a Cook at Cioffi’s, you will be responsible for the daily preparation and execution of menu items in accordance with established recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations. This role plays a key part in delivering consistently excellent food while maintaining a clean, organized, and collaborative kitchen environment.We are looking for a skilled, dependable cook with a passion for Italian cuisine, quality ingredients, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

What You Will Do:

Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes
Stock, organize, and prep assigned workstation for each shift
Maintain food quality, freshness, consistency, and presentation standards
Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation procedures (FIFO)
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
Assist with daily cleaning duties and end-of-shift breakdowns
Deliver professional, high-quality customer service
Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

What You Have:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar cooking role
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Proven commitment to quality, consistency, and cleanliness
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Flexible schedule across all 7 days of the week, with varying start times. Shifts typically finish before 7:00 PM.
Valid Food Safe Certificate
Valid BC Driver’s License

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing 20 lbs +
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a kitchen environment
