Full job description

Company Summary

Trimlite Mfg. Inc. is a leading manufacturer and distributor of residential doors, decorative glass, and related building products. With manufacturing and distribution facilities across Canada and the United States, we are committed to quality products, exceptional service, and bringing innovative solutions to the building materials industry.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform a variety of general warehouse and production duties.
Operate a forklift as required.
Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
Build, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipment.
Apply wood bead to doors.
Sand wood doors in preparation for painting.
Assist with packaging finished wood doors.
Repair minor cosmetic imperfections.
Assist in the Glass Department and other production areas as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through general housekeeping.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
Stand for extended periods (8–9 hour shifts).
Safely lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the workday.
Perform other warehouse and production duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or general labour experience is preferred.
Forklift experience or certification is an asset but not required.
Experience operating basic power tools (e.g., brad nailers, framing nailers, miter saws)
Previous carpentry, woodworking, or building materials experience is a plus.
Knowledge of doors, decorative glass, millwork, or related building products is beneficial but not required.
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Committed to following all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, day shift.
Overtime opportunities available.
