Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests by delivering food promptly, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the service staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food safety and service standards. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food service industry within a vibrant and fast-paced environment. In addition to an hourly wage, team members participate in a tip-out program and receive a percentage of gratuities based on hours worked and restaurant policies.

Responsibilities

Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner
Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables to ensure cleanliness and readiness for new guests
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and service stations
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and handling as needed
Ensure food safety standards are upheld during all food handling and serving activities
Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments to ensure smooth service flow
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to meet guest needs promptly
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper cleaning procedures and food handling protocols

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Experience with POS systems
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Basic knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and kitchen operations is advantageous
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards guest services and hospitality standards
