Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physiotherapy Aide, where you'll play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and enhancing overall well-being. In this energetic position, you will assist licensed physiotherapists by preparing treatment areas, managing patient needs, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Your dedication to patient care and attention to detail will contribute to positive outcomes and a welcoming environment for all patients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting while making a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Duties

Assist physiotherapists with patient preparation, including setting up equipment and ensuring comfort during therapy sessions
Support patients with mobility exercises and activities under supervision, promoting safe and effective rehabilitation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use
Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, reporting any concerns or changes to the physiotherapist promptly
Manage administrative tasks such as documenting patient information, updating records, and scheduling appointments
Provide excellent patient care by addressing patient questions, offering encouragement, and ensuring a positive experience
Support the clinic’s daily operations by stocking supplies and assisting with equipment maintenance

Requirements

Previous experience an asset
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care
Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and attentive patient care
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and assist patients confidently
Must be organized, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in a clinical environment
