Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations in a busy dental office. This role requires proficiency in handling phone systems, scheduling appointments, and utilizing dental software to ensure smooth administrative processes.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
Maintain patient records accurately using dental office software.
Verify patient insurance information and handle billing inquiries.
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.
Stay updated on dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.

Qualifications

Previous or in a similar role within a dental or healthcare office is preferred. Minimum 1 year.
Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is essential.
Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus.
Proficient in using dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
