Our team is looking for a full-time seasonal concrete Batcher for our Calgary South, AB location. Here’s what you can expect when working with us:

Responsibilities
· Operate computerized batching equipment to accurately proportion raw materials and additives for concrete production.
· Monitor and adjust batch plant equipment to ensure proper functioning and consistent quality of concrete mixes.
· Follow prescribed concrete recipes and mix designs to produce concrete that meets project specifications and quality standards.
· Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to schedule and prioritize concrete deliveries to job sites.
· Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of batch plant equipment to ensure efficient operation and prolong equipment lifespan.
· Keep accurate records of materials usage, batch quantities, and production rates for reporting and inventory purposes.
· Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
· Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and participate in repairs as needed.
· Minimum 1-2 years of concrete batcher experience, however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
· Dispatching experience is considered an asset.
· Strong understanding of concrete production processes, mix designs, and material properties.
· Inventory control.
· Operate front end loader if required.
· Excellent customer relations.
· Strong problem-solving capabilities.
· Good communication skills to coordinate with team members.
· Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.
· Have a valid driver's license and driver’s abstract according to company policy.
· Meet all Safety requirements and policies.
· Pre-employment drug screening in effect.
