Full job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Strike is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR professional for a maternity leave contract position. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist provides support across a variety of Human Resources and administrative functions, with a strong focus on HRIS data integrity, employee records management, reporting, and HR program administration.

The successful candidate will support a culture of safety, professionalism, confidentiality, and collaboration while delivering accurate and timely HR support across the organization.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and maintain HRIS/CMIC employee transactions and records
Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations
Prepare employment letters, new hire documentation, and personnel files
Support compensation administration, surveys, and reporting
Coordinate hiring requests, vacation tracking, incentive programs, and disability administration
Maintain benefits administration and liaise with benefit providers
Build reports, organizational charts, and maintain HR SharePoint content
Support management development initiatives and other HR programs

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a similar role
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with HRIS systems; CMIC experience is considered an asset
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
