Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and maintenance, with skills in maintenance person tasks, blueprint reading, and various construction techniques. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring project completion, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members engaged in construction and maintenance tasks.
Ensure that all work is performed according to safety regulations and company policies.
Provide hands-on support with tasks such as insulation, drywall installation, and taping repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution effectively.
Train new trades on best practices and safety protocols.
Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during the work process.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are available for team use.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or maintenance field.
Strong skills in maintenance person tasks including carpentry, drywall work, caulking, and construction painting.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and management effectively.
Physical ability to perform manual labor as required by the job duties.
