Receptionist/Recruitment Support – Headquarters – Full Time (Maternity Leave Coverage)

We are currently seeking Receptionist/Recruitment Support to support operations within Commissionaires Calgary Headquarters. This respected, high‑responsibility role is essential in ensuring safety, security, and operational continuity.

About the Role

The Receptionist / Recruitment Support, reporting to the HR Business Partner, provides assistance to customers and the business in the day-to-day functioning of the Commissionaires front office. This role is also responsible for providing assistance to the business and supporting the administrative functioning of Human Resources departments as required.

This position plays a key role in supporting recruitment operations, maintaining front-office services, contributing to the safety and security of Headquarters, and providing administrative support to Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Identification Services.

What You Bring

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills as well as a friendly and engaging personality to foster and maintain positive client relationships
Undergraduate degree or certificate in a relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institute with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an administrative role (preferred) or; an acceptable combination of education and experience (minimum)
Must have strong oral/written English fluency
Intermediate level of administrative related duties and activities
Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
High level of flexibility, responsiveness and resourcefulness
Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter with exceptional organizational and time management skills
Must be able to obtain a Canadian Government Enhanced Reliability security clearance and pass a criminal record background check

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and work at a workstation for extended periods
Ability to frequently use computers, telephones, and other office equipment
Occasional lifting, carrying, and movement of office supplies, mail, and courier packages
Ability to move throughout the office to support visitors, employees, and operational requirements

Working Conditions

Work weeks are 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm
Normal office working conditions
Frequent interaction with employees, visitors, candidates, clients, and external stakeholders
This temporary full-time role provides maternity leave coverage through February 2027, with the possibility of an extension. Four weeks' written notice will be provided if the term is extended.
