We believe that we’re stronger as a team when we have common goals. Our Personal Trainers will need to:
Entrepreneurially mindset
- have a valid Personal Training certification or equivalent
- have Group Fitness certification or equivalent
- obtain annual First CPR/AED certification
- be able to provide progressions and regressions throughout client workouts
- be able to Train /Coach small group training sessions up to 6 clients
- be able to Coach Boutique classes of up to 40 clients
- plan effective and efficient client programs.
- anticipate and react to the needs of members during a session
- have the drive to succeed while still having fun
- possess a desire to learn, grow, and refine their skills
- be eager to connect with members and the rest of the Edgemont Athletic team
- follow all established service expectations
- be willing to be mentored and be a mentor to others on our team

As a Personal Trainer at Edgemont Athletic, you'll be part of a team that shares common goals and works together to achieve them. Here's what we expect from our trainers:
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Drive your success and strive towards a financially lucrative career, all the while having fun.
- Certifications: Valid Personal Training certification and annual valid CPR/AED certification. Additional Group Fitness Certification an asset.
- Training Skills: Provide progressions and regressions, lead small group sessions (up to 6 clients), and coach boutique classes (up to 40 clients).
- Client Programs: Plan effective, efficient workouts tailored to clients' individual needs.
- Member Interaction: Anticipate and respond to members' needs during sessions, build connections, and be a proactive team player.
- Continuous Learning: Eager to learn, grow, and refine skills, while mentoring and being mentored by others.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Mornings and/or evenings and/or weekends
Supplemental Pay:
Location:
- Calgary, AB: Reliable commute or relocation plan preferred.
Experience:
- 1 year of personal training experience preferred.
Certification:
- Certified Personal Trainer required
