Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Line cook to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food preparation and service. The Lead cook will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant activities, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Lead and manage team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
Oversee food handling procedures to maintain compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, setting an example for staff.
Manage restaurant operations during shifts, including opening, closing, and ensuring cleanliness.
Train new staff members on food safety protocols, service standards, and operational procedures.
Ensure adherence to health regulations and quality control measures.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the establishment’s reputation.
Collaborate with management to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling.
Previous restaurant management or leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
Experience in hospitality settings with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a vibrant hospitality environment while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $19.25-$27.21 per hour
