Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Service Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing food safety standards, and ensuring smooth operations to provide an outstanding experience for customers.

Duties

Lead and supervise staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency.
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures accurately.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices across all kitchen and retail areas.
Coordinate daily operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience.
Monitor staff performance and provide coaching or disciplinary actions as necessary to uphold service standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow, manage food presentation, and control costs.
Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality, and efficient service delivery.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or food service supervision.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage diverse teams.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures.
Knowledge of food industry standards, restaurant operations, and kitchen processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills for effective team management and guest interactions.
Background in hospitality or hotel industry experience is advantageous; barista or serving experience is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to lead a vibrant team in a reputable establishment dedicated to quality service and culinary excellence.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
