Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our hospitality property. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience while efficiently managing check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse guest demographic.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure, creating a positive first impression
Manage guest check-in and check-out processes accurately using multi-line phone systems and reservation software
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
Answer phone calls promptly using proper phone etiquette, directing calls as needed
Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications to bookings efficiently
Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved promptly
Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff

Experience

Previous experience in front desk operations within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve an international clientele
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and reservation management software is advantageous
Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, and hotel operations is a plus
Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and problem-solving skills in a customer-facing role

There is subsidized fully furnished shared accommodation available for only $21 per day which also includes free internet and cable.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
