Parts Advisor

Location: Carleton Place, ON Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Compensation: Base salary of $37,500–$44,000 annually, plus performance incentives and bonus opportunities

Earning Potential

In addition to a competitive base salary, Parts Advisors are eligible for performance-based incentives. Successful candidates have the opportunity to earn up to an additional $14,400 annually, resulting in a potential total compensation of up to $58,400 per year.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule

Monday to Friday
Day shift
8-hour shifts
No weekends

Position Overview

Carleton Place Ford is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a long-term career within the automotive industry while contributing to the success of a growing dealership.

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our Service Department, retail customers, and wholesale accounts by ensuring the accurate identification, ordering, and distribution of automotive parts. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, service-oriented, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers, technicians, and wholesale clients in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles.
Process retail and wholesale parts orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and distribute parts for service technicians in a timely manner.
Receive, stock, and maintain inventory while ensuring accuracy and organization within the Parts Department.
Deliver parts to customers and business partners as required.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service and product knowledge.
Support various departmental functions as needed to ensure efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn dealership management systems.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
