Full job description

Ensure Risk Assessment is completed before the commencement of any job.
Prep shifts for success maintain all equipment, build new lines, replace bearings motors and belts.
Comply with safety and standard operating procedures across the plant.
Recommend or implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments
Inspect equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
Conduct employee training in equipment operations, work and safety procedures.
Read and analyze charts, work orders.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.
Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
Place requisitions for materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results.
Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.

Qualifications

Mechanical/Iron Worker/Welder based degree or diploma an asset with relevant plant experience
At least three years maintenance experience.
Knowledge of cement technology and manufacturing process is an advantage.
Excellent leadership ability and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact with plant and regional personnel.
Ability to work on many tasks at the same time while keeping excellent organizational skills.
Strong communicator (both oral & written).
Highly motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated commitment to achieving organizational and personal goals.
Proven ability to work well in a team environment (co-workers, suppliers, etc.).
Valid class 5 drivers’ license with folk and skid steer experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
