Job Description
Heuvelmans is looking to expand our team and hire a car detailer for our dealership. If you are looking for a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we recommend that you apply today!
The selected candidate for this position will provide detailing for both the interior and exterior of company and customer vehicles. This includes checking-in and inspecting new vehicles, completing detailing packages for customers, cleaning vehicles and preparing them for delivery, and cleaning recently purchased used vehicles.
This is a full-time position that requires availability Monday to Friday from, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for the appearance of vehicles to new owners and the presentation of our inventory on the lot.
- Thoroughly hand-wash vehicles, debug, wax, vacuum, steam, and wipe cars as necessary.
- Regularly check the Sales Delivery Board to ensure cars are cleaned and delivery ready for their scheduled time.
- Keep work station clean and organized.
- Effective and efficient use of time to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner. Work orders will be provided by the tower operator.
Qualifications/Competencies
- Previous car detailing experience is an asset, but not required.
- Valid full G drivers license required.
- Clean driving record and provision of a drivers abstract.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communicator – ability to interact with customers and colleagues. This job works closely with the sales and service departments.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. This job requires the ability to manage time and work flow.
- Detail oriented – this job requires a fine attention to detail.
