Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating fresh, delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong attention to sanitation, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service and cashiering within a dynamic restaurant setting.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Subway standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
Greet customers warmly and assist with their menu selections, upselling items when appropriate.
Operate the POS system (Micros POS) accurately for order processing and cash handling.
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately, providing correct change and processing payments efficiently.
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout the shift.
Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.

Skills

Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Experience in food industry roles such as serving or kitchen work is advantageous.
