K9ine Security is hiring Licensed Security Guards for weekend traffic control assignments in Port Hope, Ontario.

About the Role

As a Licensed Security Guard, you'll help ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians while maintaining a professional security presence on site.

This is a public-facing role where professionalism, communication, and customer service are essential.

You'll spend your shift directing traffic, assisting members of the public, working alongside a supportive team, and helping create a safe environment for everyone on site.

Responsibilities

Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely and efficiently.
Maintain a professional and visible security presence.
Monitor site activity and report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity.
Assist with traffic flow and daily site operations.
Provide courteous, professional customer service.
Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, visitors, and members of the public.
Follow all site safety and security procedures.

Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including hot summer temperatures
Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Requirements

Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (Required)
Valid CPR Certification (Required)
Reliable transportation to and from the work site
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Previous security or traffic control experience is considered an asset
