Your Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrochemical stacks for LOHC, including optimizing performance, reliability and cost.
Create and validate designs and specifications for cell and stack components
Perform detailed cell performance modeling and system trade-offs
Utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element Analysis to analyze and improve electrochemical reactor designs for performance and durability
Develop and implement component tests and inspection criteria to ensure product quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and research and development
Support the development and protection of LOHC stack IP, with a focus on strategic patent filing and management
Collaborate with leadership team to define project goals, deliverables, budgets and timelines

Your Skills and Experience:

Minimum undergraduate degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in designing and developing fuel cell, electrochemical or electrosynthetic stacks and components, preferably for commercial applications
Expertise in CFD and FEA tools for performance and structural analysis
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance related to electrochemical technology like electrolyzers or fuel cells
Knowledge of advanced materials and/or manufacturing processes for electrochemical technologies
