Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling components and products with precision, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing processes, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an engaging work environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount.

Duties

Assemble products and components according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and work instructions
Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to facilitate assembly tasks
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure correct assembly procedures
Use calipers and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality standards
Perform welding, machining, or mechanical tasks as required for specific assembly projects
Utilize forklifts or warehouse experience for material handling and component movement when necessary
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to quality standards

Requirements

Proven experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments is preferred
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools safely and effectively
Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with schematics, calipers, welding techniques, and machining processes
Forklift certification or warehouse experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed
Prior experience with manufacturing or assembly processes is highly desirable

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
