Full job description

Lakeridge Auto Gallery is looking to hire a full-time Junior Accounting Administrator.

We are a growing group of automotive dealerships seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accounting Administrator to support our finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers, systems, and structured processes.

You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily accounting activities across multiple dealership locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as required
Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding invoices and payments
Prepare payments after reconciling vendors’ statements, if required
Following up on disputed items with vendors and internal departments
Process timely payments as per the payment terms
Send weekly AR reports and follow up with the Service and Parts department managers on subsequent collection
Post daily licensing and fuel
Enter and balance cash invoices
Process cheque requisitions and mail cheques upon approval
Support month-end closing activities and reporting
Maintain organized filing of financial records and documentation
Perform general administrative and accounting support tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient with: Microsoft Office (Intermediate or higher Microsoft Excel skill required)
Organized and detail-oriented
Excellent time management
Ability to take ownership of problems with a positive attitude and bring them to completion
Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
Pleasant, polite, and professional
May be required to work up to a 48 hours week at the end of the month
