Full job description

CORE Industrial Gases is an independent gas distributor. Its mission is to provide a full range of industrial and specialty gases along with the highest degree of service possible. Core Industrial Gases is a partnership between experienced industrial gas providers and industrial gas users. www.coregases.ca

CORE is looking for a Speciality Gas Sales Representative for the GTA and Southwest Ontario regions. Reporting to the Director of Sales the Speciality Gas Sales Rep will work in collaboration with the team, develop and maintain outstanding business relationships with new and existing customers. This position requires a positive and energetic individual who has initiative and resourcefulness.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers and discover new partnership paths.
Contribute to and advance growth aspirations for specialty gas products, including pure gases, gas mixtures and related equipment.
Visit customers by phone or in person to promote new and repeat business
Build solid relationships by providing excellent customer service, information, pricing, resolving customer issues, and answering questions
Stay on top of local and regional market trends with regards to products and pricing
Monitor market trends, market dynamics and customer feedback to discover opportunities for product development or service enhancements
Prepare and share accurate forecasts, reports and pipeline updates to keep the management team informed and aligned.
Prepares quotations and standard tender requests.
Negotiate new contracts
Do post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
Communicates with internal stakeholders to ensure orders are filled and shipped per customer requirements
Use your Specialty Gas knowledge and experience to help deliver the right solutions for our customers business needs
Provide coaching to other sales roles
Perform all other tasks or projects as assigned

Qualifications

College Diploma in commerce, chemistry, chemical engineering, sales and marketing, or other relevant education or related scientific/technical field.
3 to 5 years experience in product, laboratory, or sales environments, or an equivalent combination of education and unique life experience
Tech Savvy – strong knowledge of computer systems and google suite, comfortable learning and using new technology
Superior customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
Ability to travel throughout the sales region
Solid self-manager with ability to set and manage priorities
Full G license, clean driver's abstract
A positive attitude and customer service focus
