Hydro Excavation Truck Driver / Operator

Join Our Growing Team

We are currently seeking a reliable, professional and safety-focused Hydro Excavation Truck Driver / Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating hydro excavation equipment, safely exposing underground utilities, and supporting a variety of construction, utility, and infrastructure projects.

If you enjoy working outdoors, operating specialized equipment, and being part of a skilled crew, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Operate hydro excavation trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform utility locating, daylighting, trenching, potholing, and other excavation services.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Complete daily equipment maintenance and cleaning.
Follow all company, client and industry safety policies and regulations.
Work closely with crew members, supervisors, and clients on job sites.
Accurately complete required paperwork and job documentation.
Ensure safe operation around underground utilities and existing infrastructure.
Travel to various job sites as required.
GeoTab Digital Log Completion.

Qualifications

Valid DZ or AZ Driver's License (or equivalent based on location).
Clean driver's abstract.
Previous hydro excavation, vacuum truck, construction, or utility experience preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when required.
GeoTab Digital Log Completion.

Preferred Experience

2 Years Required / 5 Years Preferred Hydro excavation or vacuum truck operation.
Underground utility construction and maintenance.
Utility locating, daylighting, trenching, etc.
Construction or civil infrastructure projects.
Digital Log Completion.
