Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Glass Fabrication Shop Polisher to join our manufacturing team. This role involves precision finishing and polishing of glass components to meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, manufacturing, and quality control, with experience operating various tools and machinery. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with CNC equipment are essential for success in this position. The Glass Fabrication Shop Polisher plays a critical role in ensuring the final product meets specifications and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Operate polishing equipment and machinery to achieve desired surface finishes on glass products
Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to inspect finished surfaces for quality compliance
Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and tolerances
Set up and program CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming tools like Fanuc controllers
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area to ensure safety and efficiency

Requirements

Experience operating forklifts or warehouse equipment is a plus
Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and quality control procedures
Ability to work safely around machinery, including glass polishing machines and other fabrication tools
Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
