Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant (HCA) specializing in Complex Care to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical needs, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in medical terminology and computer operation.

Responsibilities

Provide total personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
Assist with all mobility needs, transfers, repositioning, and use of mobility equipment.
Support feeding, meal preparation, hydration, and monitor food and fluid intake.
Observe, document, and report changes in the client's physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment related to the client's care needs.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and ensure the client's dignity, comfort, and well-being at all times.

Qualifications

2 Years- of experrience.
Proven experience or training in patient care, nursing, or related healthcare fields is preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care procedures
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate customer service
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Prior experience with medication administration is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
Valid certification or license relevant to healthcare assistance is an asset
Driving License.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
